The Gauntlet (Pine Creek & The Numbers)

Pine Creek is the steepest, most technical, and most continuous section of whitewater on the entire Arkansas River! On the full day, continue downstream through the Numbers, making this one of the greatest days of whitewater found anywhere! The full day also includes our delicious, hot fajita lunch. This run demands good physical condition and a minimum age of 15 years. If you are tuckered out at the end of the day make sure to check out our lodging in Breckenridge and Frisco.

Golfing

The following packages are available during the high season (June 14-September 14, 2009). Lodging prices are not included with package.

The Unlimited Stay and Play Package - Unlimited golf with cart (includes one range bucket per day) is priced at $445. Valid for a period of 6 consecutive days. Offered exclusively to customers of our lodging partners. (The high season daily rate for 18-holes, with cart and range balls is valued at $126). This package offers exceptional value for the golf fanatic.

Stay and Play Triple Treat Package - Play three 18-hole rounds with cart and range balls, valid for a 6-day period - value of $378, priced at a discount rate of $315. This package will be available through lodging partners as well as at the golf course. Book through a lodging partner and secure your tee times at the time you book your lodging. Without lodging, tee times may be made four days outside of play.

The 27-Hole Special, Stay and Play Package - Play all 27-holes including cart on the same day. Priced at $145 high season and $99 low season. (Value of $175 high season, $105 low season). This offers a great opportunity to play all of the magnificent holes at Breckenridge. This special is very limited. Inquire when you book your lodging package.

2009 Rates

High Season is June 17, 2009 through September 13, 2009

There is a one week shoulder season between June 6 and 12, where the rates will be greater than Low Season but less than High Season. Please inquire about those rates by phoning 970-453-9104.
Carts are required on weekends and holidays before 1pm. Carts are restricted to cart paths during extremely wet or dry conditions and are restricted on certain holes.

Spectators are allowed but must ride in a cart and pay a cart fee.

Each golfer mus have set of clubs.

A mix of links and mountain style holes designed by the venerable Pete and Perry Dye, Copper Creek accommodates the novice golfer from the forward tees while still providing a great test for the accomplished golfer. Spellbinding views of the 10 Mile Range provide the perfect backdrop for any golf outing and Copper Creek's outstanding service is sure to impress.

Copper Creek is anticipated to Open June 19th and Close October 4th. Tee-times are available every 10 minutes from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. All dates and times are subject to change due to weather and course conditions

Don't miss the famous SuperSlide! Ride the slalom courses, or for the more experienced rider, try the giant slalom track with multiple dips. The sleds will seat an adult or small child. Children under the age of 18 need a parent or guardian's signature to participate.

Sensational Rocky Mountain scenery and that famous Colorado sunshine make an irresistible combination for mountain biking. Breckenridge Ski Resort offers a wide network of trails for varying levels of difficulty witht he convenience of lift access on Peak 8 via the Colorado SuperChairTM. Trail Maps and bike rentals are also available.

Bounce high into the air using a special harness and modified trampoline and bungee cord system.

Spin Cycle
We will strap you in and then its time to brace yourself for the ride of a lifetime! If you have ever been curious what it must have been like to have been a world famous astronaut, here is your chance.
Minimum height requirement is 4 feet, Maximum total weight of 300 lbs for two people.

Jump high into the air in our jumping castle. Available for children 12 and under.

Gem Stone Panning
Try your luck at panning for precious stones.

Peak 8 Children's Center
Drop off your children (2 months - 35 months) for fun activities, snacks, and lunch weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. $20 an Hour; $75 Full Day. Reservations required. Call 970-453-5000.

Parking
Parking is available in the Gondola North Parking Lot with free shuttle service to the Base of Peak 8. There is no parking at the Base of Peak 8.

Biking

Feel the breeze against your skin as you take in the terrain and crisp mountain air. Bike enthusiasts alike agree that Summit County offers great bike rides from Frisco to Breckenridge on trails that are comfortable to fitting ones needs. Bring the family and choose the perfect route for you! Biking is a great way to bond, experience the outdoors and is excellent exercise without being too strenuous!
